Wir haben uns angewöhnt, zu warten. Auf die Politik, auf die Technik, auf den großen Wandel, der von irgendwo oben kommen soll. Doch die Welt verändert sich nicht zuerst im Großen. Sie verändert sich dort, wo ein Mensch beschließt, heute anders zu handeln als gestern. In einem viel beachteten Experiment fand der Sozialwissenschaftler Damon Centola eine Schwelle von rund 25 Prozent, ab der eine engagierte Minderheit die Regeln einer ganzen Gruppe verschieben kann. Man muss nicht alle überzeugen. Man muss nur genug Menschen finden, die anfangen zu leben, was möglich ist.Many believe change needs the majority. Eine bekannte Erzählung berichtet, dass Affen auf einer Insel lernten, Süßkartoffeln im Wasser zu waschen. Als eine gewisse Zahl es tat, hätten es plötzlich auch Affen auf anderen Inseln gekonnt, als hätte sich das Wissen durch die Luft verbreitet. Als belegte Wissenschaft gilt das nicht, doch als Bild trägt es eine wahre Ahnung: Ist eine gute Idee erst einmal in genug Herzen, springt sie über.A well-known tale reports that monkeys on an island learned to wash sweet potatoes in water. This is not established science, but as an image it carries a true intuition: once a good idea is in enough hearts, it leaps across.

Und niemand weiß, ob nicht gerade deine die ist, die das Fass zum Überlaufen bringt, im schönsten Sinne.Both say the same thing: you are not too small.
